I decided to start a rewards chart with Ella Kate to help her in certain areas where we need some improvement. She has been having major emotional meltdowns when I drop off her at school lately, so I was hoping this rewards chart could help us with that and other things like Pottying, bedtime, brushing her teeth, picking up her toys, and being a good listener. For the Potty category, she gets a sticker if she has less than two accidents that day. And for the bedtime category, she gets a sticker only if she sleeps in her big girl bed all night.
At the end of the week, if she at least 5 stickers in one or more category, she will get to go to the store and pick out a prize. If she has 5 or more stars in more than one category, she can pick out an additional prize.
There is also a seperate chart for Pottying called the Potty Train, each time she pottys she gets a star sticker, when she reachs the end of the train, we will reward her with a trip to Chuck E Cheese!!!
We started the chart this week and she has done pretty well! Shet gets very excited about being able to put her stickers on. But, she would rather put the stickers on Dora, Boots, and Hello Kitty rather than where they belong on the chart. As you can see we need to work on our behaves at school(she cried everyday but Thursday) and our good listening skills. But she did do really well with her bedtime this week which is a major improvement so she will get to go and pick out some prizes this weekend!!!
