SNEAUX DAY!!!!!

Yesterday morning we woke up to an AMAZING sight-SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was crazy, our yard was filled with snow and it was just coming down! I woke up Scott and he ran outside in his pajamas like a little boy with the camera, I finally had to convince him to come in and put on some warm clothes. We woke up Ella Kate and at first she wasn't too excited and wanted to go back to bed, but then her daddy built her a little snowman and she was over the moon. She kept wanting to go back outside and talk to her new friend(now she is very upset today and doesn't understand where her snowman went since he melted like all snowmen must do, she keeps asking for him)! Roux blended right in with the snow and Scott kept throwing him snowballs and he would chase them but couldn't figure out where they would disappear to! We got this on video but I can't get it to upload so I will have to get Scott to do that tonight and I will add it on here. Here are some pics of our SNEAUX DAY!!!!!!

It's December Already!!!

Time is just flying by, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving at home and now we are already into December. We are all just trying to get ready for Christmas and Riley's arrival. Ella Kate is all over the place these days and is talking up a storm. Her favorite things right now are her baby dolls, counting and singing The Alphabet, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Dora, and Baby Jesus from the Natavity Scene. It is rather funny, she took a liking to Baby Jesus but calls him "Baby Jes(as in geez) and talks to him and wants to carry him around. She did not do too well with the Santa pics this year, she had a total meltdown! But she likes seeing him on TV and even says HO HO HO when she sees something with a Santa on it! She is a mess! Here are some recent pics including The St Aloysius Fair, Thanksgiving, Santa pics, and celebrating an early Christmas with Biggie and MeMe D.

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have had so much going on, sorry I have not been better about updating the blog. We had a great Halloween, Ella Kate went trick or treating on Sorority Row and had a blast! She also went to a few houses Halloween night, she was an ol pro and loved all the candy! She now knows what chocolate is and asks for it all the time now! She then helped her and MeMe and I hand out candy and got to hang out with her cousins Logan and Emma! It was a busy but fun Halloween!

Here are some pics of her in action:

More on Riley

We had our appt with Maternal Fetal Medicine last week and got a better look at little Riley! She was moving all over the place but was being cooperative this time and giving them everything they needed to see. The doctor was able to detect a small cleft lip, we had prepared ourselves for this after they told us they thought they saw one at my 18 week ultrasound, so we were ready for the news. The good news is it seems to be a very minor one-it is called an isolated unilateral cleft lip and is on the right side. It does not appear to go through to the nose, so that is even better news. Our doctor was very encouraging and Scott and I feel really good about everything.

We have an appt with Children's Hospital and their cleft team on Oct.20. They have one of the largest cleft teams in the country and are suppose to be amazing. We will meet with their entire team and be able to ask any questions that we might have. Hopefully, we will know more after this appt about what to expect and when her surgery might take place. We will keep you all updated and please keep our little girl in your prayers. Here are some of the 4D pics they were able to take of our little lady-

And here is a pic of our little Tiger, EK! She loves watching football now and will shout "Go Tigers" anytime she sees football on TV, no matter who is playing!

Catching Up!

Sorry I have not updated the blog in a while, things have been crazy as usual! We made it through the hurricane, Ella Kate was a champ even without power! But her and I spent WAY TOO MUCH time together! She had a great time with her PaPop who stayed with us for two weeks, had him wrapped around her little finger! He would even skip the Oreilly Factor and sit watch Sprout TV with the little demanding diva!

Ella Kate and I went to Kingwood for a days to get away and spent some time with Biggie and MeMe Deb! EK loved the pool and would have lived in there if we would have let her!

Other big news-Ella Kate got rid of her noonie(paci)! This is huge! She was obsessed with these things, had to have one in her mouth while carrying two more in each hand! But it was time for her to be a Big Girl and say good bye to the noonie. Her MeMe led the way and they "threw away" the noonie almost two weeks ago! We told her she was a big girl now to which she replies "Big Dirl"!

Other than that, we have just been trying to get back to normal and have been enjoying LSU football! I need to post a video I took of Ella Kate cheering the Tigers on, she is already taking after her mama-a natural cheerleader in the making!

We have another doctor's appt tommorow and will have an ultrasound to get a better look at our other little lady-Riley Anne! I cannot believe she will be here in 4 short months, so much to do and we haven't even started yet! Gotta get Handyman Scott in gear!!!!
